Digital Media Technologies (B.S.)
The Digital Media Technologies program at ESU immerses students in the media business and its creative technologies.
Students use today’s creative media technologies to learn how to tell stories and prepare for dynamic media careers. ESU offers a very hands-on program that allows students to experience many aspects of media, from video and TV production to web design, photography, digital graphics, social and interactive media, and new courses and content in esports and virtual reality.
The undergraduate programs provide our students with a wide range of production and creative skills, in multiple subject areas to prepare them with hands on access to the technology they need to become the professionals and leaders in creative media industries.
These software packages are taught on both Windows and Apple computers. We prepare our students to meet the challenges of tomorrow's media industries.

Near the end of their time in DMT, our students create digital portfolios and production reels that showcase their talents and competence in a variety of digital media.

- A fully upgraded 4K TV studio
- A full audio recording studio with instruments
- PC and Mac video editing labs and an advanced computer lab for production work and computer gaming
- Advanced multimedia and computer classrooms
Career Opportunities
ESU Digital and Media Technologies alumni are in the TV industry, video production, post-production, photography, web design, digital graphics, education and training, business, digital marketing, social media, interactive media, film industry, sound recording, radio stations, and various forms of media and content creation.
Internships and Research Opportunities
We place ESU students in internships at a wide range of digital media opportunities in the industry, including television and radio facilities, production studios, content creators, editors, animators, digital service providers, and photographers.
