Through a partnership between Google and the PA State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), Google Career Certificates are available for credit and non-credit students. This Exciting online initiative is available to ESU Students, Business and Community partners and anyone interested in preparing for high-demand jobs.

The certificates provide training for jobs in cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing and e-commerce, IT, project management and (UX) design.

Students

Google Career Certificates are available to ESU students, alumni, and members of the community. Prior experience or a degree are not required to begin studying. Certificates can be completed online within three to six months.

Employers

Pennsylvania employers are invited to offer Google Career Certificates to their teams, boosting skill sets and fostering development. Let's empower your workforce together!


IT Support - IT Specialists troubleshoot problems so computers and networks run correctly. You’ll learn about troubleshooting, customer support, system administration, Python and more.


Project Management - Project managers ensure projects within an organization are managed and completed with maximum value. Discover how to manage projects efficiently and effectively, using traditional and agile methods.


Data Analytics - Data analysts collect, transform, and organize data in order to help make informed business decisions. You’ll learn about R programming, SQL, Python, Tableau and more.


UX Design - UX designers make digital and physical products easier and more enjoyable to use. Learn the foundations of UX design, including empathizing with users, building wireframes and prototypes, and conducting research to test your designs.


Digital Marketing & E-commerce - Digital marketers use online tools to reach customers. E-commerce specialists grow online sales. Learn to manage digital marketing campaigns, attract and engage customers, and sell products online.


Cybersecurity - Cybersecurity analysts are responsible for monitoring and protecting information and systems. Learn job-ready skills that are in-demand, like how to identify common risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, as well as the techniques to mitigate them.
